Patsy Perkins Cadwell

I must confess this makes me feel a little, well, silly. I suspect that people only want to read a bio that includes my wonderful qualities - who would want to listen to a teacher-mom-grandmother who sometimes yelled at her kids and forgot to feed the cat? But really, how do I write this? The greatest passion of my life is the Bible and drawing other people to the things God teaches in the Bible. This passion has given me years of experience leading women's retreats, Bible studies, as well as writing. I mostly enjoy teaching women in the "family raising" age group, but have also led retreats for single adults, single parents, young couples, youth as well as those of us that are "Classics." Perhaps the highest praise I can give myself, (see why I feel silly) is that my children liked me when they were teens. As the mom of 3 grown children, 1 boy and 2 girls, I learned a lot. As the grandmother of 3 grandchildren, 2 girls and 1 boy, I learned a lot more. I also have a husband of 38 years who still thinks I am wonderful (& gorgeous).
