Eva J. Gibson
Eva Gibson, wife, mother of 6 grown children-one is in heaven-and
grandmother of 16 is from Wilsonville. She lives with her husband
Bud, a son and his wife, a daughter and 7 grandchildren whose ages
are from 2 years old to 15 year old twin girls. She enjoys gardening,
writing, reading and walking on the beach.
She teaches writing classes at Portland Community College and Sunday
school (K-1st grade) at her home church, Tualatin Hills Christian.
She also writes books. These include novels for teen girls and
Bible Studies for women (The Heart of God Series and Forgiveness).
She is now working on a manuscript on grief entitled: Make Friends
with the Rain: The Healing of A wounded Heart. She has also served
for over ten years on the prayer team at the Oregon Christian Writer
Summer Conference.
The desire of her heart is to encourage women to grow in spiritual
maturity. She says, "My ministry is to write, disciple, lead
journaling workshops and teach and speak at various retreats and
seminars."
